Planting trees at Waikākāriki (Red Zone)

Polish Community Christchurch is joining to plant trees at Waikākāriki in the Red Zone for the future of Christchurch City and future generations!

We will plant trees, shrubs, and bushes, have snacks, have a friendly chat, and enjoy spending time together outdoors.

Look at the short video below for an example of the goal to start “greening Christchurch”. This example shows the plans for the park in the Red Zone, the Ōtākaro Avon Forest Park Each of us can be part of achieving this communal goal:
